Welcome! My name is Alaina and I'm an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) who works with individuals, couples, and families. I understand that beginning therapy, or meeting someone new, can sometimes feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable, heard, and empowered as we work together toward your mental health goals.
My background includes supporting individuals of all ages and their family members who have been impacted by trauma, as well as those navigating unhealthy or challenging relationship dynamics. However, I recognize there are many reasons someone might seek therapy, and my goal is to meet you wherever you are in your journey.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in advocacy and in the public health field connecting individuals and families to mental health resources. I am passionate about helping others and believe that therapy can be a powerful tool for growth, healing, and self-understanding.
I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting and take an integrative, client-centered approach to therapy. I look forward to collaborating with you and supporting you on your path toward greater well-being.
