Hello, welcome to Horizon Counseling Center, my name is Alia Rogers (she/her/hers).I am a graduate student studying
Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University in Sacramento. I am currently a MFT Trainee operating under the supervision of Susan Armstrong, LMFT, CA #93612. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate hardships, life transitions and everything in between.
First and foremost, I commend you for deciding to give therapy a chance and I admire the strength it took to make this decision. My hope is to be the support you may need and can count on. I draw from a wealth of personal experience.I aim to provide a safe space for you to express and explore yourself freely. We will work collaboratively to improve your life and relationships, through the development of coping skills and solutions.
I work with all populations and ages, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, relationships, parenting, trauma, and emotional expression.
