My name is Francisco Valverde, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee at Horizon Family and Community Services. I attend the University of San Francisco, Sacramento Campus. My approach is rooted in empowerment, strengths-based practices, and object relations theory by creating a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.
I am passionate about working with young men, offering a space where they can speak openly, feel understood, and challenge the stigma often surrounding mental health. I also work with clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns, always aiming to meet them where they are and support them in building meaningful change
My overarching goal is to help serve underserved communities by offering care that is culturally responsive, empowering, and grounded in both clinical insight and educational equity. I am especially passionate about destigmatizing mental health for men and creating spaces where full emotional expression is not only welcomed, but celebrated. Thank you for considering working with me. I’d be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.
