Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Wassermann. I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, currently
completing my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy & Professional Clinical
Counseling at the University of Massachusetts Global. I am completing my practicum at Horizon
Counseling Center under the clinical supervision of Jeff Beesley, LMFT, 105525, and receive
weekly clinical supervision to assure ethical and effective care. I am endlessly curious and
passionate about others and their life story, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and
welcoming space to explore your journey down a path of growth and healing.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that authenticity and genuine connection
go a long way. I have been able to bring experience from previously working as a case manager
into therapy practice, making sure I use a client-centered approach that is focused on each
person's needs and experiences. At Horizon, I work with individuals, families, couples, and
children while navigating life's challenges and working towards greater resilience and overall
well-being.
I believe that a path of healing is for everyone and that it takes a village to support people
throughout their lifetime. Thank you for considering working with me and taking the time to learn
about me. It would be an honor to support you along your journey of self-discovery, compassion,
and healing.
