Hello! My name is Lauren Walker, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with a passion for helping individuals, couples, families, and youth navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful connections.
I approach each client with warmth, compassion, and unconditional acceptance. I create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported. I focus on deeply hearing and understanding what my clients share, knowing that healing often begins with simply being heard. From there, we work together to uncover strengths, insights, and skills that can help create a life that feels authentic and meaningful. I have training and experience in trauma work with both children and adults (TF-CBT and CPT), and with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, with particular interest in supporting women through all stages of motherhood, exploring parent-child relationships, addressing custody and co-parenting concerns, and working with those experiencing depression and anxiety.
I am completing my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco. I am currently training under the supervision of Ashley Barnes-Brown, LMFT.
