I’m a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Horizon Counseling Center, where I work with individuals, children, teens, and adults to navigate life’s challenges and discover new possibilities for growth and healing. I provide support for emotional distress, overwhelming thoughts, the lasting impact of difficult experiences, as well as stress and burnout, life transitions, school-related challenges, identity exploration, self-esteem, grief and loss, and strengthening communication and boundaries.
My therapeutic style is collaborative and client centered. I draw on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as approaches that help people reshape the meanings they make from their experiences, connect more deeply with their emotions, and build stronger, healthier relationships. Above all, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology with a Minor in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of San Francisco. To ensure compassionate and ethical care, I receive weekly clinical supervision from Ashley Barnes-Brown.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading comic books, binge watching tv shows, watching movies, and playing video games.
