I’m Michaela, a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals, couples, and families. I believe meaningful change happens through connection, and I strive to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in the therapy process.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in research-based methods. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in navigating challenges, processing emotions, and building more fulfilling relationships. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals, whether you’re working through trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, or major life transitions.
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alliant International University and gaining supervised clinical experience as part of my graduate training. I also have a background in substance use treatment and hold a deep respect for the resilience of every client I meet.
I approach therapy with cultural sensitivity, an affirming stance, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I welcome clients of all identities, backgrounds, and family systems.
If you're ready to begin your therapeutic journey or are simply curious about the process, I’d be honored to connect with you.
