Hello! I'm Tyler Mitchell, a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in professional clinical counseling with the University of Massachusetts Global.
With a foundation in empathy, active listening, and a client-centered approach, I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. I derive skills and techniques from multiple evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care, which I tailor to meet the unique needs of each individual.
I believe in the transformative power of therapy and am committed to helping clients build resilience, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. As I continue my journey toward becoming a licensed professional clinical counselor, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the well-being of others.
Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I'm a pet parent to two dogs and two cats, musician, and all around nerd, which helps me maintain balance and perspective in my own life. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your path to healing and self-discovery.
